Audition Requirements
Songs
•Two contrasting 1-minute song excerpts from musicals
•One should be contemporary theatre repertoire or recent styles
•Demonstrate two facets: classic/contemporary, ballad/up-tempo
•Provide sheet music in desired key
•Mark music to appropriate length
•Double-sided copies in binder for accompanist
Monologues
•One 1-minute monologue from plays
•Roles roughly your age
•NOT from musicals or stand-alone monologue collections
Dance
•Dance audition for placement purposes
•Wear appropriate dance attire
•Change into regular clothes for remainder of audition
Additional Materials
•Recent photograph
•Resume of training and performance experience
•Academic transcripts to WSU Admissions and School of Fine and Performing Arts
