Audition Requirements
Songs
Two contrasting songs, 60-90 seconds each:
•One BALLAD
•One UPTEMPO
•At least one song MUST be from a musical written after 1970
•Live accompanist provided for on-campus auditions
•Virtual/digital: provide your own accompaniment
Monologues
LIVE/VIRTUAL AUDITION:
•One contemporary (1945-present) monologue from published full-length play or film script
•Maximum 2 minutes
•Cannot be from a musical
DIGITAL SUBMISSION:
•TWO contrasting contemporary (1945-present) monologues
•Same requirements as above
Wildcard / Special Skill
DIGITAL SUBMISSION ONLY - Wild Card Video (~2 minutes):
•Formal introduction
